Guardian Bond for Joel and Martha Thorpe, minors
03 December 1867

We, Thomas J. Moore, as Principal, and James. J. Moore, Sen'r., and James J. Moore, Jr. as securities, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in the sum of Two Thousand dollars for the payment of which we bind ourselves and our heirs.

Upon the condition that whereas the said Thomas J. Moore has been appointed by the Perry County Court, Curator of the persons and of the estates of Joel & Martha Thorpe, of said County, minors, under the age of twenty-one.

Now if the said Thomas J. Moore shall faithfully discharge his duty as said Curator according to law, then this bond to be void, otherwise to remain in full force.

Witness our hands and seals this Third day of December A.D. 1861.
