Bond of Thomas Twyman, Guardian of
James and Joseph Greenwell
08 November 1836

Know all men by these presents, that we Thomas Twyman, William Manning and Leo Fenwick of the County of Perry and State of Missouri, are held and firmly bound to the State of Missouri to the use of James Greenwell and Joseph Greenwell children and heirs at law of Robert Greenwell deceased in the sum of seven hundred dollars of lawfull [sic] money for the payment whereof, well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs, Executors and administrators jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals this Eight [sic] day of November in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty six.

The conditions of the above obligation is such, that whereas the above named Thomas Twyman has been by the County Court appointed Guardian of the said James Greenwell and Joseph Greenwell, now if the said Thomas Twyman Guardian as aforesaid shall well and truly execute his duties according to law secure and improve all such Estate or Estates of the said James Greenwell and Joseph Greenwell, until they arrive at full age, and render true and just accounts of his said Guardianship, before the county court of said county, and possess the said James Greenwell, and Joseph Greenwell, of all such estate or estates as ought to be possessed by them, and profits arising therefrom, then this obligation to be void and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force virtue and effect.
