Last Will and Testament of John C. Graff

In the name of God, Amen! I, John C. Graff of the County of Perry in the State of Missouri, do make by my full memory and full understanding, declare the following as my last Will and testament in form as follows, to wit:

1st, I desire that the whole of my property in worth of 2256 shall be after my dead belonging to my wife, except that where my two daughters be in the age of 18 years, then my wife shall give them $850, as sound gift of the above named money 2000. I desire that all me just debts, be paid by my wife after dead [sic].

3th [sic], I wish that of the interest from $100, my two children shall to secold? till the age of 14 years.

I have her [sic] unto subscribed my name and affix [sic] my seal this 29 day of February A.D. 1872.

We attest the above and purporting to be the last Will and Testament of John Graff as witnesses ther [sic] unto by subscribing our names at the request and in the presence of the testator and in the presence of each other this 29th day of February 1872.

In the matter of proving the last Will and testament of John Graff
late of Perry County - Mo
in the Probate Court of Perry County Missouri

On this 11th day of March 1872 before me John H. Nicholson, Judge of the Probate and Common Pleas Court of Perry County - personally came Andrew Fassold and George Stebinger who being by me duly sworn on their oath say that they were present and saw John C. Graff sign the foregoing instrument purporting to be his last Will and testament and heard him publish and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament and that at the time of signing and publishing the same the said John C. Graff was of sound and disposing mind, that these deponents Andrew Fassold and George Stebingers subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence and at the request of the said testator and in the presence of each other.

Certificate of Probate

I, John H. Nicholson, Judge Pleas Court of Perry County, Missouri, having examined the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and testament of John C. Graff and having heard the testimony of Andrew Fassold and George Stebinger, subscribing witnesses thereto in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge the said instrument to be the Last Will and Testament of John C. Graff, deceased, late of Perry County, Missouri.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the aforesaid Court this 11th day of March 1872.
