PROBATE COURT will convene at the courthouse in Perryville on next Monday. It is the first day of the June term.

Rain. -- We have been favored with some freezing rain since our last issue and vegetation is the better by it.

REV. T. HAGERTY, Presiding Elder, will read at the Methodist Church in Perryville on Friday night the 30th inst.

DIED, on the --th of May, 1873, at the residence of her parents in Perryville, Fan[ny?], daughter of J. F. and Cora Mert[z?], aged 1 month.

MARRIED, at the residence of Mrs. M. A. Tong, in Ironton, Mo., on the 15th of May 1873, Mr. William H. Winfield to Miss ?illie Tong. We wish the young married couple a pleasant and peaceful journey along life’s pathway.
