Sheriff's Sale of Real Estate

BY virtue of an execution issued from the office of the clerk of the circuit court of Perry county, in the State of Missouri, bearing date of April 16th, 1867, in favor of John J. Seibel and against Andrew M. Roper, and to me the undersigned sheriff directed I have seized and levied upon and will expose to sale at public auction to the highest bidder for cash in hand at the court house door in the town of Perryville in said county on Tuesday the 15th day of October 1867, it being the second day of the October term for the year 1867 and while said court is in session, between the hours of 9 a. m. and 5 p. m. of said day all the right, title interest and claim of said Andrew M. Roper of, in and to the following described real estate lying and being in Perry county, Mo., to wit:

one hundred acres of land in the s e corner of survey No. 86, confirmed to Thomas Donahoe under Christopher Burnhardt, in township 36 north of range 10 east. Said land is sold to satisfy said execution and cost.

Sheriff's Sale of Real Estate

NOTICE is hereby given that under and in virtue of an order of the circuit court of Perry county, Missouri, made at the April term 1867, I the undersigned sheriff will offer and expose to sale on Tuesday the 15th day of October, 1867, at the court house door in the town of Perryville in said county, between the hours of nine o'clock a. m. and 5 p. m. of said day and during the term of said court, to the highest bidder the following described real estate, situate, lying and being in Perry county, Mo., to-wit:

56 40 100 acres in the John Layton survey in township 35 range 10 & 11 east, beginning at a stake on the line of said survey, from which the east corner of said survey, bears south 52° west along said line 35 chains and 25 links, thence South 38° west sixteen chains, thence south 52° east 35 chains and 25 links, thence north 38° east 16 chains to the place of beginning, also 2 61-100 acres s w frl qr section 18 township north of range 11 east beginning at a stake in the edge of an old field thence south 20½° east 8 chains to line on the north side of John Layton, Jr. survey thence north 52° west with said line 12 chains and 35 links, thence east 7 chains to the beginning.

It being the land conveyed to Peter Kline by C. C. Ellis (vrde) deed dated March 5th, 1853, recorded on page 368 volume 8 Perry county land record, also

10 52-100 acres of land in the west part of n w frl qr section 18 township 35 range 11 east beginning at the n e corner of the above described 2 61-100 acres of land in old field, thence north 20½° west 6 chains and 50 links thence north 59° west 17 chains and seventy-five links, thence north 8° east 3 chains and 11 links then the line of James Moore survey, thence n 82° west along said line to the line between range 10 and 11, thence south along said range line 1 chain and 67 links, to John Layton, Sr. survey, thence s 52° east along the line of said survey to the n w corner of the above described 2 61-100 acres, thence 7 chains to the beginning.

Said land is sold to make partition and division among Charles E. Megit, Louisa Lhot and Arthur Lhot.

TERMS OF SALE. -- Ten percent of the purchase money to be paid in hand the residue in twelve months, the purchaser giving bond with approved security for said residue.

NOTICE is hereby given that under and in virtue of an order of the circuit court of Perry county, State of Missouri, made at the April term for the year 1867, I the undersigned sheriff will offer and expose to sale on Tuesday the 15th day of October, 1867, at the court house door in the town of Perryville in said county between the hours of nine o'clock a. m. and 5 p. m. of said day and during the term of said court to the highest bidder the following described real estate, situate, lying and being in Perry county, Mo., to-wit:

Lot No. 8 as laid of by A. M. McPherson, county surveyor in partition in the cause, it being the south half of the north west quarter of the north east quarter of section 23 in township 31 north of range 11 east, containing 20 acres, and lot No. 10 as laid of and numbered by said county surveyor in said partition, it being 29 99 100 acres of the north part of the south east quarter of the south west quarter of section 18 in township 34 north of range 12 east. Said land is sold to make partition and division among Mary Abernathy, wife of Wingate J. Abernathy, Robert B. McCombs, Laura A. McCombs and Eli McCombs.

TERMS OF SALE. -- Ten per cent of the purchase money to be paid in hand the residue in twelve months, the purchaser giving bond with approved security for said residue.

NOTICE is hereby given that under and in virtue of an order of the circuit court of Perry county, State of Missouri, made at the April term for the year 1867, I the undersigned sheriff will offer and expose to sale on Tuesday the 15th day of October, 1867, at the court house door in the town of Perryville in said county between the hours of nine o'clock a. m. and 5 p. m. of said day and during the term of said court to the highest bidder the following described real estate, situate, lying and being in Perry county, Mo., to-wit:

255 acres of land more of less being the tract of land granted to one Thomas Cochran under one David Clark in Bois Brule Bottom in Congressional township No. 36 north range 11 east, and known as survey No. 117 and is the same tract of land conveyed to Austin Hogard by Joseph D. Simpson, the then sheriff of Perry county, by deed dated June 16th, 1841 recorded on page 63 and 64 of volume 4 one of the Perry county land records situated in Perry county, Mo.

Said land is sold to make partition and division among James Preston, James A. Meridith and Ann his wife, Calvey Cochran by her guardian Jones A. Meridith, Thomas Cochran and Mary Hogard.

TERMS OF SALE. -- Ten per cent of the purchase money to be paid in hand the residue in twelve months, the purchaser giving bond with approved security for said residue.

Sheriff's Sale of Real Estate

Seibel, administrator of James Smith, deceased, and to me the undersigned sheriff directed I have seized and levied upon and will expose to sale at public auction to the highest bidder for cash in hand at the court house door in the town of Perryville in said county on Tuesday the 15th day of October 1867, it being the second day of the October term for the year 1867 and while said court is in session, between the hours of 9 a. m. and 5 p. m. of said day all the right, title interest and claim of said James Smith of, in and to the following described real estate lying and being in Perry county, Mo., to wit:

one hundred acres of land on the south fork of the Saline creek, beginning at Bernard Brown s w at a set stone and running north 12° west 101 poles to a set stone on same Brown's line, thence 78° east 100 poles to a set stone, thence south 12° west 42 poles to a set stone thence north 78° east 100 poles to a set stone, then north 78° east 200 poles to the place of beginning.

Said land is sold to satisfy said execution and cost.

BY virtue of an execution issued from the office of the clerk of the circuit court of Perry county, in the State of Missouri, bearing date of May 5th, 1866, in favor of Ella Myers and against the board of trustees of school district No. 2 school township No. 5 Perry county, Mo., and Joseph C. Killian, deceased, and to me the undersigned sheriff directed, I have seized and levied upon, and will expose to sale at public auction to the highest bidder for cash in hand at the court house door in the town of Perryville in said county on Tuesday the 15th day of October 1867, it being the second day of the October term for the year 1867 and while said court is in session, between the hours of 9 a. m. and 5 p. m. of said day all the right, title interest and claim of said Joseph C. Killian of, in and to the following described real estate situated in Perry county, Mo., to wit:

The n e qr of sec. 25 containing 160 acres, and the s e qr s w qr of sec 27, containing 40 acres, and the s e qr s w qr of sec 27, containing 40 acres all in township 35 north range 9 east.

Said land is sold to satisfy said execution and cost.
