LOCAL NEWS

MR. JAMES BURGEE has had the roof of his business house nicely painted.

PAINTED. -- The house recently occupied by Alphonse Callier, has been treated with a coat of paint.

RUBARB. -- We are again placed under obligations to Mrs. Staley for a nice lot of rubarb. We take all such presents.

MARRIED, on the 26th day of April 1872, by Rev. Father Rube, Mr. Francis Layton to Miss Louvina Layton.

PIC-NIC. -- The children, teachers and friends of the Perryville Sunday School expect to have a pic nic out on the Saline creek next Saturday.

MR. GEORGE W. GOSTORF, of the city of St. Louis, is in town on a visit to his relatives here. George is a law student, and will doubtless make a good lawyer.

SINGING SOCIETY. -- We learn that a singing society has been formed in our little city, and that the members of the same hold forth on Tuesday and Saturday evenings.


FINAL SETTLEMENT

Creditors and all others interested in the estate of James B. May, deceased, are hereby notified that on the first day of the probate and common pleas court, to be held in the town of Perryville, Perry county, Mo., on the first Monday in June, 1872. I will make final settlement of said estate.

FINAL SETTLEMENT

Creditors and all others interested in the estate of Alexius Manning, deceased, of the county of Perry, are hereby notified that on the first day of the term of the Probate and Common Pleas court, to be held in the town of Perryville, Perry county, Missouri., on the first Monday in June, 1872. I will shall make final settlement of said estate.

GUARDIAN SETTLEMENT

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned guardian and curator of Hanry [sic] Cadenbach did at the March term, 1872 of the probate court of Perry county, Missouri, file a true exhibit of his account for final settlement of his guardian and curatorship and that he will apply for his discharge as such guardian and curator at the next term of said court to be holden at the court house in the town of Perryville, in said county on the first Monday in June, 1872.
