A grandson of Lydia Jane Totten and William Aitken, most likely a son of William Totten Meigs Aitken. A notation on the back of this picture says, "Born May 28th 1882."

The photo is undated; its mark is "Geo. K. Gilchrist, Photographer, Main St., Opp. Burr's Hotel, Cedar Falls, Iowa."
