Generation 2. John Cassidy Stewart (1836-1902)

John Cassidy Stewart was the oldest son of George and Isabella (Cassidy) Stewart and the husband of Mary Craig Totten. John and Mary's children were George and Emma. John farmed and taught school in Cowanshannock Township, in Armstrong County, PA. He served in the Civil War as a private in the 204th Regiment, Fifth Artillery, Company M. This may be a tintype. It's undated and there is no photographer's mark.
