John Graden (1832-1908)

John was the oldest son of Samuel and Barbara (Neiswanger) Graden. He was married abt 1856 to Mary A. (Berry or Beltz) by whom he had Charlotte (b. 1854), Sarah (b. 1857), Isadora B. (b. 1862), Alice R. (b. 1867), C.O. (b. 1870) and perhaps four others. He served in 103rd Pennsylvania Regiment, Company C during the Civil War. He was listed as a farmer in the 1870 census for Atwood, Cowanshannock Twp. He moved to Kansas in 1871 where he married Mary C. Vogle in 1896.
