Generation 2. Jacob Freyermuth (1845-1927).

Jacob was a son of Gregoire Gaspard and Lucy Ann (Flaugh) Freyermuth. He had three brothers - Theodore, Francis and Lewis - and four sisters - Sarah, Catherine, Mary Louise and Emma.

Jacob married Catherine Stein on April 26, 1876. They had eight children: Frederick, Elizabeth, George A., Henry M., Daniel, Lucy, Gertrude, and an unnamed baby who died. Frederick, the oldest, died when he was one or two years old.

Catherine died in 1892. Jacob later married Anna Reitze. Jacob, Catherine and Anna are all buried in the Cochranton Cemetery in Cochranton PA.
