Generation 2. Emma Rosetta Custead (1863-1919), daughter of Mary Deborah Cooper and Joseph James Custead.

The caption on the reverse reads: "Aunt Emma Custead Wheelock - my first teacher. Had no children. Funeral at our home 451 E. Henry St. Also Grandmother Custead was a few years before about 1915 perhaps. All three sisters buried in Greendale Cemetery as well as Grf. + Grm. Custead. Written by Della C. Higby."
