FUNERAL OF MRS G. MALE

LOYAL CHURCHWORKER.

It was with sincere sympathy that parishioners heard on Sunday of the death of Mrs Elizabeth Male, wife of Mr. G. Male, at the age of 65, after several months of suffering, pat---ity? borne.

The funeral service took place at St. Martin's Church on Wednesday, and was fully choral. The service was conducted by the Rev H. C. Tritton, of Curry Mallet. Miss H. Hillard was at the organ. The hymns were, "O God, our help in ages past." and "Abide with me." and the 23rd Psalm was chanted.

Mrs Male had been a loyal Churchworker, and had been caretaker of the church and day school for a number of years.

The mourners were Mr. G. Male (husband), Messrs Ivor, Ben, Tom, and Joe (sons), Mrs. T. Ruckley and Mrs. T. Brunt (daughters), Mesdames M. and L. Male (daughters-in-law), Messrs. T. Ruckley and T. Brunt (sons-in-law), Miss Evans (friend), Mr. G. Burge (brother), Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Male and Mrs. S. Chorley (borther-in-law and sisters-in-law), Miss Dolly Burge (niece). The bearers were Messrs. J. Louch, E. Hooper, J. Derrick, and H. Sartin.

Floral tributes were sent by the following: A full-length cross from the sorrowing husband, children, and grandchildren; George, Hannah, and family; Aunt Alice and family; Sarah, Harry, Ethel, and Frank; Herb, Mabel and family; Edie, Ernest, and Dorothy; Members of the Women's Fellowship; Teachers and children of Fivehead and Swell C. Chown?; Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Huish?; All at Champians; Mrs. H. Adams, Bert, and Beat; Mr. and Mrs. J. Derrick; Mr. and Mrs Sartin; Mrs. Whittingdon; F. and S. Salway, Mr. and Mrs. Wetherall, Langport; All at Higher Langford; Mrs. C. Taylor, Wellinge; All at Beer Mill.
