DEATH AND FUNERAL.-The death of Mrs. E. Scriven, widow of the late Mr. William Scriven, of Long Sutton, took place on February 23rd at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J. R. Gibbs, of Charlton Mackrell. The deceased was 83 years of age. The funeral took place at Long Sutton on Wednesday of last week, the Rev. J. M. Skittery, vicar, officiating. The mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. A. Scriven, son- and daughter-in-law; Mr. Arthur Scriven (son), Mr. and Mrs. J. Scriven (son and daughter-in-law, Mrs. A. Squire (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Gibbs (son-in-law and daughter), Mrs. D. Hughes (daughter), Miss M. Gibbs and Miss K. Scriven (grand-daughters), Mr. C. Hughes (nephew) and Mr. J. Scriven (cousin). The coffin was supplied by Mr. R. W. Croom, undertaker, of Charlton Adam.
