Welcome to the first site dedicated solely to the Santibanez Family. The origins of our ancestry first begins in Spain, where not much is currently known except that there is a small town or village by the name of Santibanez.

           From Spain, some of our relatives migrated to Mexico and eventually settled there to raise their families. The family lineage can be traced to areas of Northern Mexico.

           Eventually, some members of the Santibanez family entered the United States and the diaspora of this family became even greater. While the majority of American Santibanez family members reside in the Southwestern part of the United States, with a large concentration in California, there are also many living throughout the remaining states.

           The purpose of this site is to become an avenue by which members of our family may reunite with one another and, hopefully, begin closing the gaps that have separated us for so many years. The first way this will be accomplished is by making the history of the Santibanez name available to all family members. For as the saying goes, how can one truly understand their present situation or even comprehend their future without first knowing their past? Accordingly, the lineage of our family will be traced as far back as possible up unto the present day. What is most important in this venture, is that family members become re-acquainted with one another and begin creating ties for future generations to come.

           This website is a continual work in progress that will be updated according to the true history of our family, as can be found through records or other acceptable forms of history-keeping.
