These poems were written by my daughter Samantha
She has many names, in which people call her;
And her names are spoken in many languages;
But out of them all, "Mom" seems best.
So for all of the love and happiness;
She gives everyone;
I think we owe her a debt.
A debt of love and happiness;
And a debt of time and forgiveness;
Which we owe until we die!
He is the first man in her life;
And he is the one to watch over her;
He teaches her how to play sports and anything else she wants to learn to do;He is the one to interrogate her boyfriends;
And threaten her prom date;
And when the time finally comes;
He will walk her down the aisle.
He will always care for her, and when a baby comes;
He'll be the first there to see the new angel;
Although he wont be the angel's first love;
He will be second, because that's where grandpa's come in.
A baby's gleaming eyes, can show you the innocence the world needs;
And touch you in a place you never knew existed.
For at that moment you never knew, how full of love your heart could ever be.
I will take care of my family
Just as you did,
Especially my dad,
The tenth born, and youngest kid.
I will love you,
Always and forever,
And us kids,
Will forget you never.
Soon you will start your journey,
To the heavenly sky above,
And when the "byes" are all said,
You'll fly like the morning dove,
And as you fly,
To our God up above,
I send you my good-bye,
With all my love.
