Strictly speaking, I shouldn't be following up this branch of the family, as it enters our family tree with my grandmother's second marriage and so are not blood relations. However, this is a kind of tribute to the man I knew and loved as my grandfather, i.e. her second husband, Aubrey Elliott. If you want to follow the surname through, his is the best tree to start with. I don't know a great deal about the family yet, except that they were Londoners through and through.
