The Earle family brings in a long-standing connection between our family and the naval town of Portsmouth on the South Coast.
Many of the Earles were craftsmen: mainly stonemasons, but also carpenters.
They were also part of a long and proud history of military service in the Navy which runs through several branches of our family. Frank Earle served in the First World War, fighting in the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
