UPDATE
Brigadier General Charles W. Delp Jr., former Saint Clair resident, will lead the veterans in the Saint Clair Halloween Parade. All veterans from the Saint Clair vicinity that are registered with the Saint Clair American Legion to be honored at the Saint Clair Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 26, 2000, (rain date - Thursday, October 27, 2000). Assembly will be at the parking lot of the Fairlane Village Mall in the area of the Value City store between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to board the busses to be in the parade. No cars will be used by the veterans as previously stated. All veterans that can walk the length of the parade are asked to do so, those who cannot walk the whole distance will only walk for two blocks. A Service Award Metal and Certificate will be presented to every veteran that is part of the parade. 180 veterans are signed up as of Thursday, October 19, 2000 to be honored by the Saint Clair American Legion. Veterans from as far away as Virginia, Harrisburg, Carlisle, Camp Hill, and Kutztown will be honored as will be our local veterans.
