Crissman Cemetery

The Crissman Cemetery is located three miles north of Locust Grove
on State Route #41, then east one mile as you leave Conway Road on Tate Knob Road.
The property was once owned by John Lilly and later by J. Workman. Cattle, horses and hogs have been allowed to run the fields of the farm and have probably broken the stones. Burials listed on Soldier's Cards in the Court House tell us that one soldier is buried here along with many others. CRISSMAN, Jonathan C., born 14 October 1837 and died 1908 |
