This photo album contains a large number
of family photographs of the descendants of William Crook Graham, Civil War veteran of York District,
South Carolina, who moved to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. This is
the same family from which evangelist Billy Graham descended. Affiliated families represented here
include surnames Allison, Beatty, Black, Coffey, Flannigan, Hunter, Lineberger, McCachren, McCall, Stafford, and Turner.
Many of these photos were
from the collection of my grandmother, Sadie Graham Turner Hunter (Crook's granddaughter), and her mother,
Letha Dora Graham Beatty (Crook's daughter), shared with me by my parents and my uncles.
