His record of service in War of Revolution reads:

Sacket, Zaven, Westfield, Private Capt. Warham Parks' Company, Col. Timothy Donulson's(?) Regt. Muster Roll dated Aug. 1, 1775, service 3 mo. 4 days. Also Company return dated Roxbury (probably October, 1775). Also pension bounty coat or it equivalent in money.

In 1832
he swore before a circuit crt judge that he was 83yrs old and that he had been born in 1749. His brother David signed/attested etc.

Rev. Sold. Zaven Sackett (1749 - 1840), pension S4659, ended in Meadville.

Abigail was not mentioned in his application for his Revolutionary War
pension, which he made August 13th , 1832. (She and he signed a land
deed in Crawford Co in 1829. In land deeds subsequent to that only
Zavan's signature appears on the deed.

Zaven married Abigail Bills, daughter of Thomas Bills and Miss [--?--], on 16 Feb 1779 in Southampton, Hampshire Co., MA. (Abigail Bills died on an unknown date.)
