The Death Roll
Thomas McBride.
Thomas McBride, an old resident of
this city, passed away Friday morn-
ing at 7 o'clock from typhoid fever,
says the Danville, Ill. Commercial. Mr.
McBride was 54 years of age and was
born in Ohio and reared near LaFay-
ette.  He removed to this city in 1876
and had resided here ever since.  He
is survived by eleven children, all of
whom live here.  They are William,
George, Frank, Thomas, Mrs. R.A.
Burgoyne, Mrs. Bird Meeker, Mrs.
Peter Lane, Mrs. Frank Lane and
Goldie, Mattie and Violet McBride.  The
funeral services were held Saturday
morning at 10 o'clock at the residence,
16 Laurel street.  Rev. A J Cox officiat-
ing.  The interment was at Gordon
cemetery.
