Charles L. Barstow West Side relatives have just re- ceived the full particulars of the death of the late Charles L. Barstow, who died a few weeks ago at Pueblo, Col. after a brief illness with pneumonia. The young man was 20 years of age and leaves a wife, but no children. His wife, Mrs. Ethel Barstow, is the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Coleman, former residents of the West Side and is quite well known here. The deceased was an exemplary young man and served with distinction throughout the Spanish-American war and in the Philippine war. He enlisted at Lendville, Col., as a member of Co E fourteenth Colorado regiment. His death came as a severe blow to the young wife and relatives.
