In 1903, Louis came to America, perhaps under the name Csikasz Gabor. May 16, 1903, the Augusta Victoria arrived at Ellis Is. with "Gabor Csikasz" aboard. Louis birth name was Csipo Lajos. Louis may have come from Sajokosine, Hungary.666 Alex Cooper was only 2 years older than his son-in-law Louis Csipo. It was said that they came to America to avoid being drafted into the army. Louis stowed away 3 times before he got here, and then he came under someone else's name, Csikasz Gabor. Mom & Arnold know the rest of that one. -Roberta Calhoun.487
