I believe the Hungarian name would have been "Istvan Gyula TAKACS" but I have no records to show this at this point- Scot Sabo 7-2001. Stephen and Marie lived with their son, Stephen Jr and his family on what is now RT 237 south of Clarendon, NY. Stephen had his "first Papers" in 1930 but was not yet naturalized.⁹ Stephen was listed "subject to Rheumatism" and as a "Declarent" (citizenship status) on his WWI Draft registration. He registered in Buffalo and listed a wife and child as dependants²⁴⁵
