1900 Barre census states that her parents were from Canada.100 The 1930 Census states that her parents were born in "North Ireland" and she owned her home in Clarendon.98

Marriage Memo Jennie and Sam were single and living with their parents on the 1875 census. They are also listed as married with a daughter on the 1880 census. The 1900 census indicates that they were married 20 years. The 1910 census states they were married 33 years.
Misc. Notes
Hugh Boyd who lived next door to Sam's father, Henry Rosenbrook, sold his home and property to Sam and Jennie Rosenbrook for $1 with the following conditions: "... subject to the use and occupancy of [the land] by [Hugh Boyd]during his life and the essence of the consideration for this deed is that [Sam and Jennie Rosenbrook]may enter into joint occupancy...and cultivate the same and they agree to pay all taxes assessed thereon and keep said premises in good condition and the buildings insured in some responsible insurance company and also...maintain support and provide for the comfort of [Hugh Boyd]during his life, and upon his death provide for his funeral expenses and decent burial, and [Hugh Boyd] reserves during his life the sole control of the house and use of the garden on the eighteen acres first above described." Three parcels were included in the transaction 18 acres,25 acres, and 2 acres. The land was sold in 1889 by Hugh Boyd and Sam & Jennie Rosenbrook to Thomas and Charles Staines.92
