She was born on 15 March 1868 at Deerfield, Monroe County, Michigan, USA; Obituary is as follows: Laura Garno, 89 Dies in Hospital Heart Disease Fatal after 4 day illness. North Baltimore, July 26 Mrs. Laura Irene Garno, 89, a North Baltimore housewife, died today at 7:30 p.m. in Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green. She had been hospitalized four days and succumbed to cardiac failure. Mrs. Garno was born March 15 1868, a daughter of Joseph and Lisa Perry in Deerfield, Mich. She moved to Wood County in 1904, where her husband Lewis Garno, to whom she was married in 1888 farmed. He died in 1926. Eight daughters, Mrs. Louise Aldridge of Decatur, Ill, Mrs. Richard (Sarah) Smith of Rudolph, Mrs. Walter (Elsie) Snyder of Toledo, Mrs. John (Lydia) Neil, of North Baltimore, Mrs. Charles (Edna) Eishem of Cygnet, Mrs. Harold (Eugena) Alexander of Findlay, and Mrs. Albert (Cholette) Black of Toledo survive. There are 16 grandchildren, 25 great grand children, 3 great-great grand children, a sister, Mrs. Ange Haines of Toledo and a brother, Abe Perry of Deerfield, Mich., also surviving. A daughter, three sons, and three sisters are dead. Mrs. Garno was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church, where services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. The Rev Father Martinian Snopec will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery and Rosary will be recited at the Baden Funeral Home at 8 Sunday Evening.
