The Family Golinski

St. Stanislaus Kostka as it looks today at 1300 N. Noble Avenue in Chicago. This church was originally built in 1877 and modeled after a church in Krakow, Poland. Thomas and Agnes Golinski were married here in 1890.

After Agnes' husband, Thomas, died in 1894, Agnes moved the family to one of the six apartments over these businesses in 1896. The Golinski family lived here for three years. These apartments in 1896 were 636 Noble. In 1910, the City of Chicago renumbered this 112 year old structure to become 1254 Noble and still stands as seen above.

Agnes Golinski and her family moved here in 1899 and lived in one of the structure's multiple apartments for three years. In 1899, the address was known as 1929 Drake. In 1910, the City of Chicago renumbered this dwelling as 3264 Drake. This 105 year old structure still stands today as seen above.

Agnes Golinski and her family moved here in 1903 and was numbered 1863 Kimball Avenue. Agnes owned this house and lived here until her death in 1915. This multiple house style apartment, age unknown, still stands as 3138 N. Kimball in Chicago. The address changed with Chicago's renumbering in 1910.

This photo shows 3 of 4 of the Golinski daughters. At left is Antoinette from Agnes' 2nd marriage to Thomas Golinski. Right is Josephine and back is Francis, 2 of 3 daughters from Agnes' 1st marriage in Germany to Simon Kruczkowski.

Marianna Kruczkowski was the eldest daughter and chose the name Sister Hippolyte when she joined Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in 1900. This photo is believed to have been taken about 1930.
