We are a stopen out in the cuntrey about
three miles from a little town cauled lincon
wee have bin hear one week it is a raining all the time
we will move on as soon as it quits raining
we left sacramento a week ago yeasturd (yesterday). we will
go to Anderson sas (so as) to be close as possible to the mountians
I am no better by commen (coming) down hear the chinie (Chinese) Dr
could not help me I am a taken Swamp Root
if it dont do me eny good I will quit doctorn (doctoring)
I am acious (anxious) to get home this has bin a long winter to
me. It hert me worst to her they had a dance in
my hous then if had burnt down
Ever thing is green hear som flowers in bloom and
orenges on the tress. I was sorrow to hear of the death
of dores (Dora's) girl I will write agan when we stop
it costs us one dollar & fifty cents a day for hors feed and
hous rint and wood. I will close as it is a big task to write
