Welcome to the home of the LAMPRELL One Name Study. The idea behind this site is a resource for the genealogy and study of the LAMPRELL name and its many variants (LAMPAREL, LAMPRALL, LAMPREL, LAMPRELE, LAMPRIEL, LAMPRIL, LAMPRILL). A place where researchers can make contact with each other, 'pool' our areas of interest, various resources and information of LAMPRELL lineages, databases and family history. In this way we can all broaden our own LAMPRELL horizons and at the same time make contact with and help others finding their missing links and long lost cousins.
In the early to mid 1700's the LAMPRELL name, and its many variants, appears mainly in Cambridge, Essex, Kent, London and Suffolk. Some known branches seem to have been fairly mobile, whilst others remained in the same area for a number of generations.
This site will evolve as information and suggestions are received and formats trialled.

with known branches in Gt Thurlow, Lidgate, Cowlinge, Kedington, London and Australia, to name but a few! A little about
