Hammond Researchers

This is a list of Hammond Researchers Jim and I correspond with. This way, no matter what, all the contacts won't be lost. If anyone wants to add someone to this list, just send it to me or Jim and I will e-mail it to everyone. Or, if you want to better specify your Hammond connection I have under your name, let me know. If you don't want to be part of this list, just let me know and I will remove your name and will not be offended.

For those who don't know me, my name is Ruth Padilla. I am a descendant of Amos Worrill Hammond. Jim Hammond is a descendant of Captain Samuel Hammond of Heath Springs. If you can't reach one of us, you can probably reach the other one.

Dorothy Hammond Lee is a life-long resident of Mississippi and has done a ton of research on the Hammonds. She and her husband Bill Lee currently have no permanent residence and are roaming the country in a pickup and travel trailer doing research. I think they've been on the road about 18
months and have their household stuff in storage. I'm sure they'll resettle eventually and we'll get her online. But Dorothy is too important not to include in this circle. She's recently developed some good documentation on Martin Hammond's origins and possible role as father of Job Hammond No. 1. So
put her on you list. Here's her address, from which mail is forwarded to her on the road, and her cell phone number.
