General Notes: Husband - Samuel Killough

Samuel was a pricate in the Pennslyvania militia during the Revolutionary War. He was drafted in Lancaster, PA and served from July to October 1776. In Mecklenberg Co., NC he served again in August 1779. On January 2, 1784 he acquireda title to 120 acres of land lying on the Rocky River in Cabarrus County where he farmed. He is listed in an indenture disposing of the prperty of his deceased brother Ebenezer, along with his eldest son David and bother-in-law James Gardner.
