The GOODY family

There were a lot of Goodys living in Glemsford in the 19th century, including two Thomases born around the same time. One of these was Thomas Clarke Gooday (or Goody), a silk weaver, whose family tree has been well documented by Roderick Craig (see the link at the bottom of this page). "My" Thomas Goody was one-time proprietor of the Plough Inn on Tye Green. As far as I can make out, the two families were not related. Unfortunately, I am still searching for his birth record and ascendants. Any help would be appreciated!
