She worked at Bethlehem Steel, Corp. before retiring 45 years ago. Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Dieter and Mabel Seip. She was a member of Lutheran Trinity Church, Nazareth. Survivors: Son, Bernard of Effort; daughters, Evelyn Dieter of Mountain Lake, N.J., and Charmaine Reiter of Harmony Station, N.J.; brother, Ralph Deiter Sr. of Nazareth; 13 grandchildren, including Greg Deiter of Palmer Township, whom she raised, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Gillen. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Morello Funeral Home, 201 S. 12th St., Easton. Call after 7 p.m. Sunday.".

He was the husband of the late Marian R. (Hess) Maugle. He was a handyman for R&J Apparel Co., Quakertown. Before that he was a butcher at the former Headman's Meats, Quakertown, for many years. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Charles and Eva (Barndt) Riegel, and adopted son of the late William H. and Katie Mae Maugle. He was a member and usher for many years of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quakertown. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Sons, Randy of Churchville, Bucks County, and Dennis of Quakertown; brother, William of Quakertown; sisters, Polly Kline of Quakertown and Betty, wife of Stanley Benner of Perkasie, and a granddaughter. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday.".
