1The Morning Call Newspaper, obit for Victor F Houser, September 20, 1985. "Victor F. Houser, 77, of 868 Browntown Road, Nazareth, died Thursday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Beatrice M. (Kocher) Houser. He worked in Plant 4 of the Penn-Dixie Cement Co., Nazareth, for 45 years before retiring in 1972. Born in Upper Nazareth Township, he was a son of the late Quillis and Emma (Fehnel) Houser. He was a member and former councilman of Salem United Church of Christ, Moorestown. Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Shirley, wife of Francis Culbert of Kunkletown R.2, and Gloria, wife of Joseph Tliszka of Dublin; a son, Richard E. of Bethlehem; a brother Sylvester of Bath; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Rodger of Bethlehem, and five grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. A son, Harold V., preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the church. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday in the Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown.".

She was the wife of Victor S. Houser, who died in 1985. She was a cook at the former Orwig's Restaurant, Nazareth, for many years before retiring in 1968. Born in Hanover Township, Northampton County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Mary (Rodgers) Kocher. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Moorestown. Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. Shirley M. Culbert of Kunkletown and Mrs. Gloria M. Pliszka of Dublin; son, Richard E. of Bethlehem; brothers, John of Nazareth, William and Sherwood, both of Bath, Raymond of Palmerton and Lewis Jr. of Easton; sisters, Mrs. Mildred Fry, Mrs. Dorothy Hess and Mrs. Emily Baggest, all of Nazareth; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Harold. Services: 2 p.m. Friday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown.".

He was the husband of Pauline (Barndt) Kline. He was a presser for the former Quakertown Clothing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1983. Before that he was pre-boarder for the former Interstate Hosiery Co., Lansdale, for many years. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late William and Mamie (Krouthamel) Kline. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Surviving with his widow are two sons, Dale R. of Red Hill and Barry W. of Quakertown; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Galli of Sellersville; a brother Earl of Allentown, and four grandsons. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St., Quakertown. A calling hour will precede the services.".
