He was the husband of Carrie (DeRohn) Houser. He was a welder for Frazier Industrial Co., Long Valley, N.J., for the past five years. Before that he worked for Novan Steel Fabricating, Finesville, N.J., and Notle Inc., Whitehouse, N.J. Born in Hecktown, he was a son of the late Sylvester and May (Friend) Houser. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict. Survivors: Wife; son, Franklin S., at home; sisters, Miriam M. Wampole of Allentown, Faith M. Stefancin of Nazareth, Carol Snyder of Tatamy and Bettyann Lewis of Bangor; brother, Donald J. Sr. of Easton, and four granddaughters. Services: Noon Saturday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. Call 7-9 p.m. Friday.".

She was the wife of the late Albert Jacobs. She was a nurse's aide at Clara Burke Nursing Home, Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County, for 20 years before retiring in 1988. Before that she owned and operated a farm with her husband in Whitemarsh, Montgomery County, until 1963, and during World War II worked at the Philadelphia Arsenal. Born in Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Annie (Long) Musselman. Survivors: Son, John of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Dorothy C. Bealer of Bethlehem, Elsie Myers of Norristown and Ruby Frederick of Lansdale; brother Ernest of Sellersville; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Moyer-Kantner Funeral Home, 623 W. Market St., Perkasie. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.".

William E PHILLIPS

(Fogel) Phillips. The couple observed their 56th wedding anniversary in March. He worked for Fred Koehler Contractors, Bath, for 10 years before retiring in 1971. Before that, he was employed as a lineman for the Lehigh and New England Railroad for 33 years. Born in Pen Argyl, he was a son of the late George A. and Emma E. (Wheeler) Phillips. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth. Surviving with his widow are two sons, Richard W. of Nazareth and Donald R. of Mount Laurel, N.J., and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday.".
