Comte de Toulouse Raymond V de Toulouse was the successor of Alfonso-Jordon, comte de Toulouse, duc de Narbonne; Count of Toulouse. He was Count of Toulouse at Aquitaine, France, between 1148 and 1194
Raymond V de Toulouse was born abt 1134. He was the son of Alfonso-Jordon, comte de Toulouse, duc de Narbonne and Constance de Capet verch Louis VI "le Gros", roi des Francs and Adélaïde de Savoy.
Raymond V de Toulouse married Constance de France in 1154. This was her 2nd marriage. From this union descend the Counts of Toulouse.
Raymond V de Toulouse died abt 1194. His son Raymond VI succeeded him as the Count of Toulouse.

The people of Languedoc remember Raymond V with affection and respect. A plaque honors him which reads:
"On 6th January 1189 by a solemn Act Raymond V Count of Toulouse confirmed to the Capitouls, representatives of the people of the town, the liberties which founded the independence of the municipality of Toulouse."
