Howell Howell⁽¹⁾ was born about 1692 in Kilycwn, County of Carmarthen, South Wales, England. He emigrated in Aug 1699 from South Wales, England. He died in Nov 1751 in Easttown, Chester Co., PA.

It is assumed that Howell Howell was born in Kilycwm and accompanied his parents to America in 1699. This assumption is based on the fact that there is no record of Howell's birth in the Radnor Monthly Meeting of Quakers, which Reece and his family joined on their arrival in the County of Chester in Pennsylvania. The births of David (1702), Susanna (1706), and Reece (1710) are recorded.

In 1726 Elizabeth Meredith, a widow with children, and Howell Howell petitiioned the Radnor Monthly Meeting for permission to marry and on 11 March were advised to wait. Minutes of subsequent Quaker meetings and correspondence are given pages 3, 4 of the the book by Billie L. Stanton, referenced herein, and are interesting reading. The marriage was solemnized at the Radnor meeting of 27 April 1727. The record of that meeting was signed by Howell Howell and Elizabeth Meredith and 49 witnesses, including Reece Howell, Elizabeth Howell, Magdalen Howell, and David Howell. Nothing more is known of the children of Elizabeth Meredith from her first marriage or to whom she was married.

Howell died in the Township of Easttown, Chester County, PA. His will was dated 6 November 1750 and proved on 20 November 1751. Data on his will and distribution of his estate are included in the Stanton book, pages 4, 5. Parents: Reece Howell and Elizabeth Davis.
