It is believed; three brothers, Christopher Bentick Sancho, John Sancho and Tuckness Lambert Sancho, were birthed in England. The three brothers migrated to the Americas.  They arrived in British Guiana at some period prior to January 5, 1848.  They settled in the Golden Grove and Nabaclis community.

It is known; Bentick Sancho, and Tuckness Sancho, is listed among the shareholders of Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara. 

The parents, siblings, and other relatives of three brothers, Christopher Bentick Sancho, John Sancho and Tuckness Lambert Sancho, are not known at this juncture. The exact nature of the relationship of Claudius Sancho, his relatives and his descendants to that of the three brothers, Bentick Sancho, John Sancho and Tuckness Sancho, remains unclear, at this period. However, there is no doubt; the relatives and descendants of Claudius Sancho, Sancho of Berbice, and indeed Guyana are members of the kinship of Sancho as propagated by Bentick Sancho, John Sancho and Tuckness Sancho.

The Descendants of CLAUDIUS "CLAUDE" SANCHO

It appears the descendants of Claudius "Claude" Sancho are the group of Sancho, resident in the vicinity of the Anglican Church in No 2 Village, Canje, Berbice.

It is understood; Claudius Sancho died about 1953.  Claudius Sancho married Elaine Sancho. Claudius Sancho and Elaine Sancho had seven children: Claudine Sancho (deceased), Neville Sancho, Joyce Sancho, Evelyn Sancho, Cyril Sancho, George Sancho, and Pauline Sancho (listed Eldest to youngest).

These folks are numbered among the descendants of Claudius "Claude" Sancho; Onika Lancaster, Ray Lancaster, Yonnette Lancaster, George Leitch, Patrick Leitch, Atisha Sancho, Claude Sancho, Claudette Sancho,  Claudia Sancho, Claudine Sancho, Claudius Sancho, Colin Sancho, Cyril Sancho, Evelyn Sancho,    George Sancho, George Sancho, Horace  Sancho, Joyce Sancho, June Sancho,  Kim Sancho, Lennox Sancho,  Leron Sancho, Lorna Hazel Sancho,  Lucy Sancho,  Mark Anthony Sancho, Natalie Sancho,  Neville Sancho , Neville Sancho, Pamela Sancho   Pauline Sancho, Rhon Sancho, Rhonda Sancho,  Roderick Sancho, Rosemount Sancho,   Samantha Sancho, Shawn Sancho, Simone Sancho Tracyann Sancho, Travis Sancho,  Tresha Sancho, Trinette Sancho, Troy Sancho,  Wendy Sancho, and Yvette Sancho.

Sancho, Campbell, Lancaster, Leitch, Moore, and Nedd, are surnames of persons known to be descendants of Claudius "Claude" Sancho.   

The aim is to identify the ancestry of Sancho wherever found and thereby ascertain the relationship to that of three brothers; Bentick Sancho, John Sancho, and Tuckness Sancho. It is understood; Sancho of Berbice, and Sancho of Guyana, in general, is descendants of Bentick Sancho, John Sancho, and Tuckness Sancho.

Sancho of Berbice is found in several locations including; Rose Hall Town, Port Mourant, Corriverton, and New Amsterdam.
