This is the website of Ros Dunnico and Seana Coulter. We are both descendants of Samuel and Sarah Hancorn of Norton Canon, Herefordshire, England, through their son William who was baptised in 1759 and married Ursula Daw in Wellington, Herefordshire in 1788. At this point the surname changed to Hancon and Ros is a descendant of their son William Hancon born 1799 and Seana is a descendant of their son John Hancon born 1804. William and John had a brother Samuel Hancon born 1801 who died without any issue and left his fortune between his nephews and nieces. His will mentions that Seana's John emigrated to the US settling in Orange Co, New York, and this enabled us to connect our families. In appreciation of Samuel's help we put his photograph taken about 1865 on this page.
