These Pritchard's are my Pritchard family also, but they originate from Thomas Pritchard, Jamestown Immigrant, my maternal side. The previous-above Pritchard's are from my paternal side.
I am forever trying to connect the two Pritchard families as they lived in close proximity. Rumor has it that my paternal side Pritchard's were "half-breeds" and that the white Jamestown Pritchard's may have changed their surname to be "Pritchard" instead of "Prichard" (or vice-versa) to distinguish themselves. It appears this didn't prevent tombstones from containing both spellings here.
