Renumeration by Dee:
Sophia Goens and Warner Pritchard were married November 25, 1816 in Monongalia County, (W)VA. I have no children for them before 1823. At the time of this 1820 census, they could have had the "3 male and 1 female children under 14" listed above.

My thoughts are that there are possibly other children of both of Warner and Sophia, theirs from another liason(s).

Possibly Partial
Request and Reply:
Luke Goins and wife Margerit had lived in John Littlejohns neighborhood
for above 30 years, and his brother Jason Goins for upward of 20 years
and always thought to be free persons; a son of Jason Goins living with me
as an apprentice who I believe was freeborn as well as his brothers and
sisters."My notes say Dec. 23, 1795 but I don't think John Littlejohn
was that early. Will check again if this might be a useful piece of information.
I think that the Jason Goins listed in this paragraph is my ggggrandfather
his daughter was Sophia Goens, B 1795. A mixed breen Delaware Indian
(Lenape)I believe. She Married Warner Pritchard
Could this be the same Jason and if so he must be Native American
Indian.

Thank you for writing. I give you various bits of information below; hope
some of it may help you. Please feel free to write again. Your notes are
correct: The certificate is dated December 23, 1795, according to my notes.
In going through my Goins file, I find one piece of information that may
help you: I do not know Donna Schoolfield, but this is from her message to
me in March 1999. You may already be in touch with her, but in case not, she
wrote (having found the same Goins message I wrote in 1997 as you did),

I have been trying to find information on Jason Goins, father of Joel W.
Goins. I know this family later lived in Jefferson County W.VA and later in
the 1820s moved to Guernsey County Ohio.

Thanks to my cousin, Bernard, our family historian, who provided me with
almost everything I have on this side of my family and continues to help me.
If there is anything wrong on this site, it is probably my misterpretation of the genealogy.
Please let me know as I welcome all corrections and additional information.

A lot of people already know this, but I'll say it again:
Bernard, YOU'RE THE BEST!
