Sr. of perfect mind and memory, for Love and Affection
give, grant and confirm until Gedion Gibson and Jordan
Gibson, when of age, Tabitha Gibson and Mary Gibson and
the child which shall please God be hereafter born; if a
girl, the same quantity of land and utensils as the other
Girls at the day of marriage; if a boy, the same as the
other boys, when of age; John Lemay and Samuel Lemay,
when of age; Sarah Lemay at the day of Marriage; George
Gibson and Susanna, his wife, during life; Benjamin
Brannum and Frances, his wife, during their lives and
after their decesase to heirs above mentioned; all and
singular my Goods and Chattels and personal estate
whatsoever. I give to Gedion Gibson 200 acres; part of the tract where I now live an dfirst choice of one Negro fellow named Peter; 1 horse, 1 mair, one bed and furniture, 2 cows, 2 hed sheep, 1 iron pott, 1 dish, 2 puter bsons, 2 plates, haf-a-dozen spoons, 1 gun, 1 table, 1 chest; To Jordan Gibson 200 acres; part of afsd. tract and second choice, one negro named Jack, 1 horse, 1 puter bason, 2 plates, half doz spoons, 1 gun, 1 table, 1 chest, pair of cart wheals to be delivered when of age. To Tabitha Gibson 100 acres of afsd. tract of land, 1 mare, 2 cows, 1 bed and furniture, 2 head sheep, 1 iron pott, 1 puter dish, 2 plates, 2 bsons, half doz. spoons, 1 table and chest; To Mary Gibson 100 acres of afsd. tract, 1 mare, 2 cows, 1 bed and furniture, 2 head sheep, 1 iron pott, 1 puter dish, 2 plates, 2 basons, half doz spoons, 1 table and chest; To John Lemay 200 acres on Ballinger Creek in Albemarle Co., 1 negro wench, Kate, 1 horse, 1 mare, 1 bed and furniture, 2 cows, 2 head sheep, 1 iron pott, 1 dish, 2 pewter basons, 2 plates,half doz. spoons, 1 gun, 1 table, 1 chest, when of age; To Samuel Lemay 1 cow with first calf to be delivered when of age; To Sarah Lemay 1 cow with first calf to be delivere on day of Marriage; I lend to George Gibson the plantation he now lives on during his and his wife's life, but not to rent it nor any parts thereof, but to pay the sum of 5 shillings per year; I lend to Benjamin Brannum and Frances, his wife, the plantation on which he now lives during his and his wife's life, but not to rent it nor any part, but to pay the sum of 5 shillings per year; I give all my goods, chattels, personal household stuff, implements, lands and negroes and all other premises to sd. Gedion Gibson, Jordan Gibson, Tabitha Gibson, Mary Gibson and the child which shall be born.
wit: Wm. Sharp Smith, Edward Lain, Lightfoot (L) Smith. Memorandum: 18 Dec. 1756. I Gilbert Gibson, do appoint my wife, Sarah Gibson, to be my sole executrix. Memorandum: If it do please God I shall die in my Jurney from house to South Carolina or elsewhere, I shall appoint my wife my sole Executrix; if I return home, to be void till otherwise determined before the three witnesses. 22 February 1757 acknowledged by Gilbert Gibson. |

Daus: Tabitha, Mary Jane. Wife: Sarah. John Lemay to get 200 acres lying on Ballengers Creek in Albemarle Co. To son Gideon Gibson upper part of land upon Pamunkey River. To son Jordan Gibson lower part upon Pamunkey River. To son William Gibson land on South Anna River. To son George land he lives on now and must pay 10 shillings per year. Lend dau. Frances Brannum land she lives on, must pay 10 shillings per year. At wife's death to be equally divided among my seven children. Extx. wife Sarah. Signed Gilbert Gibson (his mark).
