The farm houses where Lewis and I were born.
The immediately-above picture is of the Old House
:
This Old House is the one in which I was born. However, my aunt said that at one time this Old House had sat behind the newer house (house above with the three grandparents) that my grandparents lived in. My father bought the newer house; then my grandparents, Sam and Vene, Sammy & Lew, moved to the Older House.
Rollers had been put on the Old House
and moved to this spot.

The older house was the first house on the left, heading north toward Veto after you crossed Little Hocking Creek. It was across the road from where the Barkes Family (Springston) lived. The newer house was the second house on the left heading the same direction. Both the old house and the Barkes house are no longer there; however, the new house is still there and in remarkably good condition.
