Bus is my mother Rella's brother. Bus was a twin. We always referred to him as Bus, but I notice that later he likes to be called "Buzz" and signs his name that way.

I remember my grandmother receiving this basic-training picture and crying when she opened it.

Bus served his country in Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge
1942-1945

 

 

 

These pictures are taken directly after WWI. Bus went to Montana where he
trapped, fished and was a
lumberjack.
Several years later, he married a woman with six children and helped raise them.

 

My Dear Uncle Bus
Bus is only 30 in these pictures after the war, but he regained his youthful appearance later.
