Henry Dorton: Two Monongalia County (West) Virginia Court Cases.
.....1) Before 1820 Henry Dorton brings assault charge against white man.
.....2) Henry Dorton sues a white man to regain property that he sold for non-payment.
These cases were entered before 1865.

Photocopies of the original hand-written records of the above-named court cases are in Bernard Mayhle's (4th great-grandson) "Dalton Research File" stored with Bernard's other original family research material with the Cultural Center, Glenn Barnett and Alvin Adams, in Washington County, Ohio. Bernard says that this material will eventually be open to use when it is recorded and sorted.

Pinkard's Pension Papers. If anyone has the following page(s), and wishes to send to
me, I would like to add it to this document.

I will upload some pertinent information from the precedent-making WV Supreme Court case depositions of Pinkard Brannon's son's to prove his incompetency in willing his property to some of the Greathouse family.

I will upload the marriage license of Malinda Brannon to William Boyce.
