This picture looks like it might have been taken on the
Emrick farm near Porterfield
(near Belpre, Ohio).

Lucille gave me hope after my parents' divorce, when
I felt there was none.
Even though I saw her only a few times as a child, I have always cherished these moments.

Cliff said that his mother, Mary Brown Caplinger called to say that Granpa Jones was appearing at a rodeo. So Cliff took his mother to meet him. Mary and Grandpa hadn't seen each other for a long while.

When Grandpa Jones saw Mary,
he exclaimed,
"Mary Brown, I can still taste your biscuits!"
