Daniel Averill b. May 1817 probably built the house at 123 Harbor Street, Branford, CT.
It has an historical marker on the front right-hand-side of the house which reads
"Daniel Averill 1853"
[My notation: I believe that this date is in error, as Daniel and Jane were in the
1860 census living with Stephen Beach, hotel-keeper,
and the house was either being built in 1860 or construction was finished after 1860.]
