A. Holland Jr. buried close-by and it is a civil war vet's stone: Co. C, Dallas Co. MO Home Guard. Next to her is William G. (Bill) Holland 1880 - 1966, probably a son. The Holland family had land to the east of the Sweaney clan. Alfred Holland purchased in 1857 adjoining in Sec. 8 & 17. Rebecca A. in 1885 purchased land in 1885 in Sec 9 adjoining James Sweaney.
