III-34 MAHALA ALABAMA SWEANEY

The fourth child of James C. and Margaret A. (Hays) was born 6 Nov 1860 in Dallas Co., MO.

She married William Landon Hill 11 Jan 1885 in Dallas Co. Mo. (Bk 4), he was a farmer, b. 15 Jan 1863.

Their first children were twin girls. It appears that twins come from the Hays lineage. We have not noted them in other Sweaney families but her brother, Isaac W. also had twin girls. Mahala's girls were born 27 Oct 1885 in Dallas Co. Mo. and are registered births at the court house. The cem. records show them as Mary M (who died 17 Jan 1886) and Susie H.

Also buried beside them in the Sweaney Cem. is Robert Lee Hill b. 28 July 1888 and died 16 Oct 1905.

Mahala died 13 March 1936, burial Sweaney Cem.
